Our two self-catering gites are fully modernised, spacious and have their own secluded gardens with a swimming pool which has wonderful panoramic views towards the Montagne Noir and the Pyrenees. It is a very quiet and peaceful place to relax and unwind.
Polfages is set in 12 acres of grounds and woodlands. Here, you will discover unspoiled and magnificent countryside which is perfect for walking, cycling and horse riding or just taking it easy with a glass of wine by the poolside. There is an abundance of wildlife, especially birds - 42 different species were spotted this summer in an area of woodland close by. The beautiful views, the serene tranquillity, the clean air and friendly ambiance makes visitors soon feel destressed and re-energized.
We have a small herd of Alpacas (called Asterix, Basil, Graham and Ringo) which graze in the meadows and 2 horses which can be used for local riding (experienced riders only).
The 2 spacious gites are an ideal base for exploring this wonderfully rich and diverse region of France. For food and wine lovers, the region offers a spectacular variety top quality produce and excellent restaurants and for sports enthusiasts the choice is endless. - see local info.
